OpenAI connection
The key lives in the encrypted Secrets vault, is read only on the server, and never reaches the browser.

Each profile maps to a model. The right profile is chosen per task unless you override it.

Quick fixes, tone changes and short messages.
Lowest cost, fastest reply.
Balanced
Normal coaching, editing and lesson extraction.
The everyday default.
Deep
Long-form argument review, monthly assessments and imports.
Slower and more expensive. Use it deliberately.
If a model name is rejected, load the available models and pick one this account can actually use.
Usage
